Trout fishing in the Summertime in North Georgia can be tough. We like to go early in the morning and late in the evening. Always fish deeper spots in the trout streams and also fish in shady spots under limbs and branches. Trout will get under them because they will have shade and bugs can fall out of the trees. We catch alot of them on Dry Fly's but our favorite fly for this time of year is the floating cricket. For spin fishing the Rapala Original Floater will catch alot of trout especially when you let the Original Floater sit on the surface and jerk the rod tip to make it pop. That triggers alot of strikes in the summer. Soft plastic trout worms will work but bread is our favorite to fish with in Deep spots in streams. Try these baits when you go Summertime Trout Fishing.
